Re: Sharpening Devices
When I was referring to power tools and no no - I was referring to your Work Sharp or any other belt/grinder. A paper wheel in the right hands does not remove material at the speed a belt or grinder does. And yes I said the carbide will ruin knife, if it is a cheap knife who cares as long as it did...

Re: 3D Shoot at Bangers-So Jersey in Sept 4th (PICTURES)

If you have a quality knife that you care about I wouldn't use a power sharpener of any kind. Just my $0.02

Re: HELP GRIZZLY AN REDS
No magic mystery with the string thing. If the Flemish String is heavier in weight than the Endless Loop on the bow, and both are made with performance materials, the heavier string will be a bit slower. The gain is the cool look that the Flemish offer, and the stronger loops with twice the strand ...

Re: HELP GRIZZLY AN REDS
I also have a grizzly and found a discussion on here that the line on your riser is not actually the brace height the correct height is 1" or so from the end of the rail. The stock strings have about a 1/2" of stretch in them before they come anywear close to the baby bumpers. My string is...

Try a Vantage Point Archery Thumper small game head. They have them from 85 grain all the way up to 300 grain. They shouldn't bury themselves if you miss. $13.95 for 3.

Re: Making a target for my new Axiom
You could always get the hurricane target for $10 more its 5" higher, 3" wider, and 2" thicker, on your cabelas Canada website. http://www.cabelas.ca/product/28344/hur ... bag-target
I have the McKenzie but they should both be good for field points.

Get a Delta McKenzie 20/20 target. $29.99 USD
It stops field points great, and you can pull them out with two fingers.
