I just got my first crossbow & went with the Axiom & I'm very impressed with the consistent accuracy. It took me about 3-4 shots to get it sighted in. I think you'll be happy no matter which one you go with, Excalibur makes a great product. Good Luck.

Congrats on your new crossbow, I also choose the Axiom. I am extremely impressed with the consistent accuracy of the Axiom. Cant wait to get out with it, I have to wait for the 1st frost to kill the chiggers,anyone who's ever had chiggers knows why I will wait...Good Luck

next time let em know its no more cheating than their Compound bow they are using with 60-70% let off,or the gun they use during gun season.

@ Xbowkiller I havn't tryed it, I just happen to stumble across this product a few days ago,but it does look like a great idea.Looks like a product Excalibur should offer as an option.

I read somewhere that where the heavy bar comes down & meets the thin crosshair line is the 10yd mark.

Congratulations on your new Axiom. I just boought the Axiom also & was very impressed with it,Its my 1st crossbow and was amazed at how well it shoots and how easy it was to sight in. Looking forward to my 1st hunt with it.I've hunted with Bows & guns but never crossbow as they legalized it ...

Thank you for your reply. This is my 1st crossbow.I just wanted to make sure. I bought the Axiom & I love it. couldnt beleive how well it shoots & how quick it was to sight it in looking forward to the 1st hunt.

Is it ok to sit in the treestand with the crossbow cocked for 3-4hrs? Will it damage the bow?
