I put an arrow through a Big Tom this morning and the same thing happened. The two side plates on the handle that slide out when the bottom cap is unscrewed are for a remote pressure switch to be mounted to activate laser/flashlight accessories

I put a 455 grain Fire Bolt through a Jake this morning at 10 yards and it ran off in to the bush, I know I hit it good because I saw the Lumiknock and heard the bolt as it hit the bird. I had a few small feathers on the ground and the bolt had tissue, bone, blood etc around the diameter of the bolt...

I am using an Ameristep Hitman and I love it! Climbing treestands take some getting used to, practice over the summer to get ready for the season on using them as well as setting them up in the dark.
