Grim Reapers
Just a shout out to the people at Grim Reaper. I bought a package of crossbow heads to try with my new Matrix 355. When I opened the pack I tried to spin the practice head and could not get it wobble free on 12 different arrows. Called the company and they sent out a new practice head and it spun gr...

Re: Target Question
If you put soap on to ease the arrow out, won't it also ease it in further?

Target Question
So today I was shooting my Matrix 355 and seem to have it zeroed in from 20 to 50 yard shots with 3, 1 1/2 inch groups at 50 yards, shooting into my Spyder Web target. I decided to try my hand at shooting some Slick Tricks into my older Glendale Full Rut Buck. I shot one field point, then one broadh...

Matrix 355 Speed
I'm shooting the new Matrix 355 with a Boo Flemish string with cat whiskers, Gold Tip Lazer 3 Pro's, Firenocks, 2 inch Blazer vanes with helical, 112 grain Lock n Load inserts, and 100 grain Saunders Combo Points. Total weight 420 Grains. I zeroed it in at 20 yards. Then moved it out to 50 yards (do...

Re: Matrix Case
Plano makes two different hard cases. The Manta (1133-00) which is huge. And also one called the Bow Max (1131-00) which is somewhat smaller. My Matrix fits in the Bow Max perfectly, although I have to take off my Munch Mount.
I think you would be happy with the smaller one.

Matrix 355 Stirup
Does anyone know what metal is used to make the Excalibur stirrup? Is it Aluminum, magnesium, or some other metal. I want to weld an extension onto it to give me a little more clearance out of my blind.

Re: Zeroing in Matrix 355
I don't have it set on any particular speed as of yet. Just looking to see if I could group. Which I can quite consistantly. I don't know the speed, so I didn't set it. Not real sure where to start at.

Zeroing in Matrix 355
As of right now, I'm shooting 18 inch GoldTip Lazer II's with 110 grain brass insets, 4 inch Duravanes, slightly offset, firenok practice nocks, and 100 grain field points. I have got it hitting dimes at 20 yards. Now I'm ready to move it out to 30 and 40 yards. If I use the 30 yard chevron on the T...

Re: Matrix 355 Speed
I started this thread just so I had a starting point on adjusting my scope. Nothing more.

Matrix 355 Speed
I have the new Matrix 355 with string set about 1/8 inch back from the R.E.D.S. system. Will be shooting a new Boo Flemish String. GTIII's 18 inch arrows, 110 brass inserts, 2 inch Blazer Vanes with helical fletched, firenocks, and either 100 or 125 heads. I don't have a chronograph. Could anyone gi...

Re: entered the trigger
Is the Boo/Miller trigger job the same as the new trigger assembly that is mentioned in this thread. And does any one know the USA price for either one of these?

Re: Matrix Hard Case
With a little refitting, (3"thick foam on bottom in front, thin foam under forearm, and sliding rear foam a couple inches forward) the Plano Pillar case works great for my new 355. Can't leave Munch Mount on so I refit it with thumb bolts, nylon wshers and rubber gommets. On and off relatively ...

Re: Excalibur Rope Cocker
If they should be free-wheeling and aren't, how do I get them moving? They seem so tightly put into the plastic hooks.

Excalibur Rope Cocker
Could anyone tell me if the brass rollers on the rope cocker hooks are suppose to be free-wheeling or does the rope just slide through them. Mine are very stiff, and don't roll without plies. (gently) Tried some W-D-40 and that didn't help at all.
