Re: Power stroke/Draw lenght

Re: Power stroke/Draw lenght

The draw length is measured along the bolt ramp. So the picture on the left.

Re: How often you guys practice

Now that deer season is just around the corner I try to get out every weekend at least once. My biggest problem is finding a place to practice/shoot.

Re: Check Your Lighted Nock

I have a set of Danny Millers Arra Pullers coming from Don (Boo). I expect they will be in this week. That's a bonus that they turn off luminocks also.

Check Your Lighted Nock

Was out shooting some arrows today and had some new Excal Firebolts with luminocks. After shooting the luminocks I extinguished them as per the instructions and put them away. Just went down stairs now to get a beer and could see some very faint glows coming from the luminocks that I could not see d...

Re: good scouting camera

I have a couple of those Wildgame Innovation cameras as well. They are on sale at TSC Stores in Canada once in awhile for $50.00. They take decent pictures and the one I had out last week survived a bear attack with very little damage.

"its the most addictive thing i've come across! "

You are so right Ken. The first place I head to now when I go to Bass Pro or Cabelas is the archery area. I may need to drop all my other hobbies to afford this one.

Sorry to hear Jim but as you say, you still have your health. And sounds like a positive attitude. Hopefully things will turn around for you.

Re: Dissapator Bars and Pads for New IBEX

I own an Ibex and have had the dissipator bars and S-5's installed right from get go so I cannot comment on how quieter they make it. But overall I don't find the noise too bad.

Re: Power stroke/Draw lenght

The draw length of a crossbow is measured along the bolt ramp (where the bolt rests) from outer edge of the main limb, to the anchor point (release latch mechanism) at full draw.
This was taken from the OHEP "Ontario Hunter Education Program" website.
