Deerstalker,
What kind of fletching are you using and is it off-set or helical?

Re: Slick Trick Questions
Hi Don, The video was helpful. I always assumed that once the broadhead is seated hard against the front face of the insert it would not move but the video shows this is not the case. There must be more play between the components than I realized. I will use a set of V-Blocks to check my alignment w...

Re: Slick Trick Questions
Is there any actual difference between the Xbox tricks and the original tricks? They look the same to me?
I noticed the Xbox Tricks only have the 1 1/8 cutting option while the originals have the 1.0 option which I think would fly better?

Re: Slick Trick Questions
I do use 110 gr front inserts and also a true helical on my vanes so I am going to start off with the 100 grain to see how they fly and group. Hopefully my POI will be close to my field points. Based on everyone's feedback my optimism is high.

Slick Trick Questions
I have seen many positive comments regarding Slick Tricks and am planning on giving them a try this hunting season for whitetail. Looking at the crossbow tricks in both 100 and 150 grain versions but am not sure which weight to try? If anybody has experience with either one of these versions I would...

Re: Bulldog 440
I have been shooting my Bulldog 440 for about four weeks now and could not be happier with it. I choreographed 440 fps spot on with a 350 bolt and factory string. The new ACP trigger is very good and breaks clean like a glass rod. So for I have shot it out to 60 yards with real tight groups. After a...

Re: FLETCHING ADVICE NEEDED
Thanks for the advice everyone. Yes some advice on the front inserts would also be appreciated. I use the same blue top Gorilla glue. I usually run the glue all along the inside diameter of the shaft a full 360 degrees and then slide the insert down inside. The problem I run into using this method i...

FLETCHING ADVICE NEEDED
Getting ready to build some bolts with an Arizona EZ-Fletch and was looking for some advice regarding adhesives. What type of adhesive works best and has anybody developed any tricks or techniques for evenly applying it to the vanes without apply too much? I use Blazer vanes and in the past have use...

Re: Shooting The Bulldog 440
My Bulldog 400 never shot as advertised. 386 FPS with factory string and 350 grain bolt was the best I could do. The bulldog 400 with the same 407 grain bolts shoots at 366 FPS which is a delta of 52 FPS to the 440.

Shooting The Bulldog 440
I was able to get out today and do some shooting with the Bulldog 440 and could not be more pleased with its performance. My setup is a custom Flemish string and a Nikon Bolt XR scope mounted with low Leupold PRW2 rings. For bolts I am shooting 18.00 long Spynal Tapps from Jerry at SSA assembled usi...

Best Broadhead Target For Bolt Removal?
I have been using a Rinehart target for broadheads with good success but with my Bulldog 400 I can just barely remove the bolts. Now that I will be shooting a Bulldog 440 I am concerned I will not be able to remove the bolts. Is there a different broadhead target that will allow easier bolt removal ...
