Re: Micro 355 ?
All the above advise is solid but I would give a strong consideration to the Mirco 360 take down , the take down makes the bow much nicer to trans port, the bow is very compact and plenty fast . If i were to buy I would call Danny Miller and get a 360 take down, leave off the sound deadening stuff ...

Re: Excalibur Hunting show
I used to record the shows and then fast forward the commercials, but between dan making political comments and fewer shows shooting xbows, i have stopped doing it.

Re: Happy father's day
Anyone want to share a Brine recipe? I have a Big Green Egg, but I have never brined venison. i have only brined pork & poultry and i keep things simple; i like meat to taste like meat and it's the salt & water that puts moisture into lean meats & that's what i'm going for. so: 1 quart ...

Re: Happy father's day
I'm thinking brine, rub, and wrap if i can find a cooperative doe in september. i have a friend who is tired of paying to have his food plot done so i offered to help him n let him use my drags & disc with his wheelers in exchange for hunting privileges. he just had surgery so he's open for some...

Re: Excalibur Summer Promotion Email -Canadian's Read Fine Print
Doesn't really bother me much. We can't get 80% of the stuff available in America. There will be times Canadians get better deals or sales that Americans, no big deal really. For what it's worth, I didn't get the email. i don't seem to be getting any promotional emails anymore. think i'll check my ...
Master built electric. Watched a couple buddies with various other ones, and said this one was for me. Set it and forget it basically. Built in meat temp probe and timer, it's the cats meow, and decent priced.
i'm a set & forget guy as well. #1 son stopped by yesterday with his...

Re: Happy father's day
Yes sir, everybody enjoy your kids and families. I got up early to put rib tips on the smoker, then bacon wrapped, stuffed jalapeno poppers on after. Got all the running around done yesterday, so today is "take it easy" day. A few refreshments, and a nap. Don't get much better! Forgot tha...

Re: Tact zone seems quite good! I’m impressed!
i have only used the illumination feature on my twilight dlx 1 time while hunting and it was bright enough to be a distraction. with that as my only questionable light shooting experience, i think that if it's twilight i want my illumination pretty low and if it's not that dark, i will not use the i...

As a medical practitioner, i'm sure you're well aware of all the studies done on the remedial effects of alcohol in the treatment of estrogen poisoning in adult males.

Re: Excalibur Twilight DLX Scope Question
Don't know what to tell you adam. there are times when i adjust my dlx (or the vortex on my .06) and the clicks feel a little odd but i turn the knobs until until the poi is where i want it and then i don't think about it any more. i guess if your scope requires constant adjusting as you shoot it th...

Re: Boltcutter B.A.T vs. regular Boltcutter broadheads
Being a newbie with my first Excalibur I have only fired my field points about 20 times. I purchased the B.A.T. Broadheads. They were the same price at Cabela’s.ca. Next time maybe I’ll just get the regular Boltcutters. Oh so much to learn for a very soon to be 62 year old man! in my limited experi...

Re: Sapphire 325 (forward riser)
"Speaking personally, I have been told that "it is not the size of your crossbow, its how you use it that matters". Also, it is generally better not to shoot too fast. I think the sapphire fits me just right." good advice for any hunter. enjoy ur sapphire. #2 son has commandeered...
