Re: Great Day Shooting With Anthony

Any idea what your strings weight is? I have found the factory string to be a lot lighter than nice flemish strings.

Re: Using a shorter bolt question

I have some 18 inch laser II set up for my newly acquired exocet 165. The rail on the 165 is actually 1/8 shorter than a bulldog rail by my measurements.

I think you will really like the bow Mike. Won't be long and these won't be around and many people will wish they got in on the deal before they all go up in price.

Half of the used matrix on ebay i've seen over the last year have the bumpers eating string. Glad excal shortened up the strings!

Tim it won't be long and everyone will want an older style excal in there collection. I could really see some of the originals becoming collector items for Excalibur fans!

Re: Exocet 165 shims

$200 sounds like a nice deal. Did you get a scope and quiver with that? I had a 165 once, kinda wish I still had it. I've seen a few hear and there just not sure what a fair price is on the old carve tip bows.

Re: Heavy arrow findings: BD 400

I find this interesting. I wonder if the lighter foc has anything to do with it? I have a couple laserIV I thought about cutting down and running a 175 slick trick with a 60gr brass insert. Figure it would give me about 540gr arrow.

Thanks for the pictures Tim, even with matrix limbs that would make a great target bow.
