Awesome and congrats on the first now do it without the blind its even more fun :thumbup: That has become quite hard for me at age 69 I find I can't sit at the base of a tree for a couple of hours as I used to plus I am almost deaf now and can't hear a gobbler gobble until he is right on top of me....

7 or 8 years ago I did that with 2 fishing reels and a metal track the turkey sat in but it was too much trouble to carry and only worked half the time ! Guess I could be a millionaire lol I like the tom thats on the little motorized car myself lol

Got my micro and my apa sighted headed to Kansas in a few days. My buddy just sent me pics of the birds his son anf he shot yesterday dang I'm usually there right now too hope he don't twack em all before i get there !

Ya Sighting in sucks you need a bag for field tips, a broad target for broadheads and a pillow for head choppers lol

I don't undrstand the dull point either and yes those heads seem to be the same just take out the small blade in the front. As fas not needing a head chopper I'll just say after many kills with regular heads I lost 2 to bad hits and had to chase down a few. I switched to bullheads and haven't had on...

I remember reading an article I think in outdoor life about maybe a year ago where the guy made a lighted nock with fish boober light I bet if you googled you could find it and maybe get some ideas.

Years ago when I shot a lot of 3d I carried a small 1/2" tube capped at both ends with a plastic top and an x cut into it. We filled the tube with some foam and silicone. Before each shot just dip arrow in it and shoot . Some wolud carry a bar of Irish spring and rub their arrow with it smelled...

If its still cool out and your target is made of foam when the arrow penetrates the heat will melt the foam and cause it to stick to the shaft then cool and basically weld the shaft into the target could be what is happenning to you. Some rub soap on the arrows to make them easier to pull.

I don't know I keep hearing all the you need a higher FOC but I shot 100 grain heads with regular inserts and it was accurate enough. When I put in heavy inserts and uped the broadhead weight my accuracy when to crap. I'm now shooting 125 with light inserts and I'm close to with the hundred grain he...
