Keep in mind that safety harnesses have an expiration date and you are supposed to replace them when they reach that date.
Safety equipment isn't the place to skimp. Your life may depend on what you choose. Choose the best equipment you can and use it. What is your life worth?

Re: Hitting Thumb
There have been some that have lost the tip of the thumb at the joint.
Imo it is still probably better than the Mercedes symbol on the boot that you get when you forget to remove the arrow before letting it down.

Sproul, "Dig In" to Obama Care a bit, and see what is scheduled to happen to your "base rate retirement deduction" for Medicare once Obama is out of office  Many very expensive changes for us are scheduled to start in 2017 ( again, after he has left office ) with virtually ...

The data I analyzed 2 years ago on deer (over 500 data points) showed no correlation between distance travelled after the shot and anything BH related (num blades, total cut, fixed vs mech,)...nothing. Boiler room = 50 yds or less trail 50% of the time,. and 90yds or less trail 90% of the time. CHe...

Re: Firenocks
I have used Firenocks and Lumenoks in my Exocet 200. Both have performed well for me. The Firenocks work fine but are just too pricey for me. The Lumenoks put a little dimples in the end of my arrows. When I refletch them I just clean them up with my G5 ASD. Another option is the Nufletch lighted no...

if you have to hang your and cant skin right away freeze 2 liter bottles to put inside the body cavity I use milk jugs for that. I keep the jugs in the freezer year round. It comes in handy for coolers and it the power goes down. Once out of the woods a few ice bags in the cavity. It is very import...

Re: Game Cart Help
Which ever cart you get the secret is to replace the wheels and go with the largest you can find. My buddy put 24 in wheels on his cart and wheeling a deer out is a piece of cake. The wheels are the key. Big wheels and it is best if the deer is ABOVE the wheels. Being above the wheels keeps legs fr...

Re: One hard headed person
The rope cocker should be able to equalize because it has rollers in the hooks. Make sure that the rollers are turning freely. Sometimes the plastic is squeezing the rollers too tightly and it causes them to bind. The rope cocker will give you a faster follow up shot than the crank. Hang in there an...

Re: What glue are folks using for inserts/vanes
I use Loctite Superglue gel on the vanes and their two part epoxy on the inserts. Prep is just as important as the adhesive. I clean and rough up the inside of the arrows with an old .30 caliber bore brush and some acetone. Years ago I tested two superglues. I left them submerged in water for a week...

Re: Bubble Level on riser.
A level is important on longer shots.
Mine is mounted on my scope. That makes it quick and easy to check as I bring my eye to the scope for the shot.
There are lots of different options on the Interwebz.

You can't beat that kind of service.
They are a well made product and they stand behind them. That's why I shoot them.
I never new that they had some problems with the Spitfire when it first came out. Am glad that you got it straightened out.

Re: Wobble in Spitfire points
The front of your inserts are likely not square. Use a tool like the G5 ASD and square the front insert. When I build my arrows I square the front and back of the arrow shaft before I install the inserts. On the rare occasion that I have a wobble from my spitfires the G5 takes care of it. You could ...

Re: experience with attatched bi or mono pods
I use a Stoney Point Monopod that also doubles as a walking stick. It makes a great walking stick as well as it has a carbide tip which gives you some grip when it is slippery.
