Re: Very quiet recurve xbow M380
I don't know what it is about the 380s, but I swear mine is quieter than both my Micro and my 330.

Re: Surprising Results M405
These crossbows are interesting creatures. Very similarly, I discovered by accident that an odd QAD Exodus broadhead I had been given was NOT a 100 grain head as I had assumed, but a 125 grain model. I had shot it with my 100 gr. Slick Tricks just to see where it hit in relation to those, and it gro...

Re: What to do ???
If the bow otherwise shoots well, if it were me I'd do nothing. 3-5, or even 6-10 fps off of the rated velocity means almost nothing in the field. A 350 even shooting at 330 velocities will push an arrow with a good, sharp broadhead clean through a deer on a ethical shot at a reasonable distance so ...

Re: Matrix 350SE Owners
I was in the same quandary until fate awarded me the 330 in the draw at Boofest. The 350 is more bow for less $$$, so hard to turn down. I like my 330 however - I shoot it and the 380 better than their little brother, the Micro. The Tick Toters aren't going to think much of it, or my new treestand i...

Re: new trigger
With the exception of a good, custom Flemish string, and a Munch mount, the TT is the only improvement I think the Excals (really) need.

Re: Hawke XB30 Pro Speed Ring
I had to set my speed ring at a lower velocity setting than I thought appropriate for my 380 as well, but the good news is once I set it, the scope has retained its zero, and I've lost zero sleep over it since. I wouldn't worry about it as long as you can get your rig zeroed properly at 20 yards, an...

Re: "Super fast reverse limb bow"
It might have been a Scorpyd. They are a reverse design, and crazy expensive. A friend was shooting his at the club on Sunday. Only 160 lb pull, and he was shooting over 400 fps. I was initially more impressed with another guy that had some model of a "Mission" bow. It was as quiet as a re...

Re: Easily portable climber stand?
I bought a TreeWalker about a month ago; they climb nicely, and are significantly lighter than my old API. I'm looking forward to spending some "quality time" in mine in about a month!!
