My Dad took my new brother from Germany on his first hunt ever. Mag 340, Sonic Liberty head that Mr. Boo sent me, BEZS bolt with 110gr insert and luninock. 20-yards shot and it went maybe 20 more yards before tipping over.

We are at the beach and its miserable. The fishing is kind of slow because the shallow water is 91 degrees. The outdoor pool water temperature is 94 degrees. There's not a lot of acorns or other natural food in abundance. I guess the good part of that is that the deer are readily coming to corn that...

The few times we tried elk hunting in high temperature it was miserable and not many bulls were moving. My brother was probably 5 years old when he shot a spike that wandered in to some cow calls in Sept. We haven't been elk hunting in a while.
