no, the breast is where the meat is and you don't wanna put an arrow there of course. i'm talking aiming where you normally would on a turk, vitals and maybe cutting the spine for a quick kill.

Turket Tom O Hawk?

what do you guy's think of these huge cutting diameter type mechanicals at 2 3/4 inch or the 150 grain tom o hawk @ 3.5 inchs. could the big cutting diameter hinder penetration? does anyone use them?

you guy's might be on to something, the extra fps might actually stabilize the head better. i might have to try more helical on my shafts to see what happens..whats the max degree of heli i can squeez thru the rail?

using a crossbow scope just makes it easier because the elevation lines are graduated in the retical 10, 20, 30 , 40 yards and so forth. most rifle scopes are just a set of crosshairs....

i used to hunt in the rain, but don't car for it much anymore, just like being dry. i will however hunt in single digits..

I couldn't do it. I don't live there so it's not for me to say. were all sportsman and NY is losing hunters, crossbows will be a big positive and we have a vert bow outfit that calls themselves the NY bowhunters inc that feels it's OK for them to say that we can not use crossbows...and that handica...
