Re: Hunting show pet peeves!!

My main dislike is the photos, meaning they shot the deer and dont takecare of the meat for hrs. Sometimes overnight. Even late in the am Etc.

So they can get the best pictures possible.

Re: Great job Wisconsin XBow guys!

Though I'm a non resident. Hunting the N.Woods past 8 yrs, I feel free to say. I helped vote to keep things the way they are now. I love my compound hunting here in Az, as we have no real crossbow seasons. Other than used during seasons other than archery. Most who draw a rifle or muzzleloader tag ,...

Re: I got turkey hunting eyes

After a little reading about turkey habits. A few suggest that though turkey hunting is good in the early am. Prime time for calling in Toms is midday . They most likely have had a chance to check out their ladies . Still being in a loving mood, are more likely to investigate a call. So sleep in a f...

Re: The little blasturds are out in full force

The " Hitchhiker" Never really noticed the little bturds until you find one crawling on or attached to various locations on your body. We really dont have a problem with ticks in Az. Most deer. Elk Javelina etc. Can and do carry ticks. growing up and living here 55 + yrs. We mostly have do...

Wish I could find a the photo. We always had hummingbird wars going on around our feeders at the cabin , in n. Az. It was usually none stop action. Sometimes get 2 or 3 at a time at feeder. The magic moment. 6 all sitting and getting a drink at once. Guess they were all just too worn out. to try and...

Re: Gonna get HOT

For almost 7000 cases and less than 300 deaths. Not bad considering Navajo nation is hardest hit .

Not saying heat makes a difference but they are testing solar /sunshine and different light spectrums.

Yes , 105 is here depending on location.

Cooking your turkey

Seems to be lots of turkey hunters.

Any great recipes to share.

I've mostly done the fried strips , rolled in crushed honey nut cherrios. Always easy and great tasting.
