Re: Nikon Bolt mounting
Can someone provide a link at Amazon.com or academy sports to which leupold rifleman rings you are talking about for the Nikon bolt? I searched and several of them came up. I think some of the options were low medium high. I've got a Nikon bolt coming in and am interested in this as well. Or at leas...

Re: Scopes for grizzly
I got a Varizone on my Micro and couldn't resist upgrading to a Nikon. I also got a Deadzone on my Grizzly and see no point in upgrading at this point. The deadzone is in a different class compared to the varizone if you ask me. What do you think of the Nikon bolt xr? How does it compare to the Var...

Re: Scopes for grizzly
I got a varizone scope and I do like it but wanted something better in low light.
How does the deadzone compare to the varizone?

Is this what I need? Is it hard to see reticle in low light since it's not illuminated?
Does it have aim point for walking deer at 20 yards?

Scopes for grizzly
I have already got some good recommendations, but what are the best scopes for the grizzly and what are positives and negatives for each scope? I want really good glass that I can see well at first and last light. I also want a very good reticle that is easy to use and easy to see even in low light....

Re: Grizzly/micro/scope advice needed
If my math is correct, we are only talking about a difference of .02 seconds at 50 yards between a 305FPS and 350 FPS.

Re: Grizzly/micro/scope advice needed
Take a good look at the Nikon Bolt in the classifieds.... awesome scopes ... as clear as my leupold and the graduations are set for the speed of your grizzly. I have one on my Axiom which is rated the same as your Grizzly and it's nearly perfect from 20 thru 40 yards. ( as far as I use it a...

Re: Grizzly/micro/scope advice needed
Leaning toward keeping the grizzly.
What is the reticle like on the hawke ? So it's a lot better than the varizone for low light? Did you do a side by side in last light?
Any other scopes better?
The only one I've seen coming up in searching is zeiss, vortex, Nikon, hawke, Leupold.

Grizzly/micro/scope advice needed
1) I know there is not a recommended torque, but what is a good torque to use on the default rings that come with the grizzly ? 2) I bought the grizzly for what seems to be a very good deal at $450, but now I'm wondering if I should return it for the micro $900. I ran some numbers and it looks like ...

Scope Rings, Torq, Matrix Grizz Reds spacing, Equ. vs M.Griz
Some questions: 1) Scope rings question: I have the new Matrix Grizzly. I think it is the lite stuff package with the varizone scope. Anyways, do the rings have a front and back and are there front and back ring? For example, does it matter which way the rings go on (do they have a front and back si...
