Re: Micro & Magnus bullheads

Nice shooting, Jeff. Tough choice though, fishing or shooting, so little time, so much to kill. http://i999.photobucket.com/albums/af120/derrick_m_laporte/948310BA-0C03-4A56-8DFE-B8B7ECD06DF9_zpsaeu2qupy.jpg LOL Derrick your killing me!! Micro & Magnus bullheads

Finally had light winds after work today & instead of going fishing I sacraficed my night & got busy dialing in the Magnus Bullheads with the Micro. :) First I zeroed in with 100gr field points. Then used one of the magnus heads. As expected they hit lower than the field points due to the la...

Re: Matrix 380 or 405 limbs on a Micro??

Good topic.

I am a small framed guy and somedays the micro is a killer to cock the way it is for me. Increasing the poundage more would. Be a no go for me. When I want to have a fun shooting session I take my matrix 330 every time. ;)

Magnus bullheads & Micro stirrup clearance

I'm on a mission to use my Micro for Turkey this year on opening day. Here is the stirrup clearance I will have when using the Magnus Bull heads with my Micro.I am leaning toward the 17.5" arrows just because I have a dozen of them & only 2 good Executioners in the 18" length in the ho...

Re: Excalibur Micro takes its first turkey...

You have convinced me to give those heads a try. Killing turkeys with the shotgun is boring!! LOL

I am going to try some 17.5" arrows with Magnus bullheds to see how they group. If I am confident I can hit a bird in the head @ 15 yards I will take the Micro on opening day...

Re: Spynal tapp's & Turkeys

Jeff, did you stick with 18" or did you cut those down for the M330? I cut them down to 17.5". They sit just a smidge past the end of the stirrup with a 100gr spitfire head. These were last years tapps powered by black eagle that were on sale on line from south shore archery for 29 bucks ...
