Re: Matrix Hardware Kit
It's possibly that I did use thread locker on those stripped screws. I wound up ordering the complete hardware kit before reading that you can buy the individual bolts. I would think these titanium bolts will be a lot better than the stock hardware that comes with the crossbow and the Air Brakes... ...

Re: Matrix Hardware Kit
pick up a 1/4 drive ratchet and proper allen sockets. it will give you better torque in getting the screws off.i dont think its worth the weight savings unless your into counting ounces. as long as you maintain your equipment just give your screw heads a quick wipe with some archery type unscented ...

Matrix Hardware Kit
There was a thread a while back regarding a hardware kit (Titanium Bolt Kit) for the Matrix 355. The screws are terrible that come with the Air Brakes, and I have already stripped some of them. Are these kits worth the money for $70?

Re: Broadhead targets
If you remove the logo off your arrows with acetone, you'll have a much easier time removing them. With that said I'm a 18/1 fan myself. Hank I'm planning on doing this with my Zombie Slayers. Do the graphics come off easily with acetone and a rag, or do you need an adhesive pad to scrub the graphi...

Re: Broadhead targets
Any of the Rhinehart Targets are excellent. The 18 in 1 is probably the best bang for your buck but I actually prefer the rhinoblock for the extra size. They're the exact same material but they're shaped differently with the rhinoblock having a little more surface area. Paul X2 and spring for a pai...

Re: New Quiver for Matrix 355
I've been using Kwikee quivers on my compound bows for years. What advantages, if any, do you see with the Kwikee quivers verses the Excalibur quivers?

New Quiver for Matrix 355
Hey guys...I'm looking to swap out my stock Excalibur quiver for a new one. I have a Munchmount and I'm looking for recommendations for a decent quiver. I'm leaning towards a Kwikee quiver but wanted to see what others to consider. If you can post some pics of our quivers along with recommendations ...

Re: Air Brakes
Yeah...I won't make the same mistake twice. Was there any damage to your limbs for having that constant pressure from the pads pressing on them without the string? I never even thought about it after removing the string. Pretty stupid mistake... The earlier "disappater" pads had the same p...

Re: Air Brakes
I never saw a video explaining that but it makes sense taking them off since the live are not compressed with the string removed. I didn't think it would cause that much of a problem to the pads... My 330 came with a video. One of the topics covered appears to be what happened to you, it said to rem...

Air Brakes
Has anyone had any issues with the pads on the Air Brakes separating and coming off of the metal bracket that holds them? I removed my string after the hunting season last year and stored my crossbow in a cool, dry room. When I went to install my string, I noticed the issue with the Air Brakes... ht...

Re: Turkey Hunting Broadheads
This is probably a stupid question, but if you happen to shoot a nice turkey and plan on getting it mounted, would broadheads like the Magnus Bullhead do too much damage?bellerivercrossbowhunter wrote:Magnus bullhead...

Re: Turkey Hunting Broadheads
Thanks for the replies. I wasn't sure if there was any advantages to using broadheads designed for turkey hunting verses deer hunting broadheads.
I currently use Muzzy Trocar 125 gr broadheads for deer hunting, and they shoot great.

Turkey Hunting Broadheads
This is my first year turkey hunting with the crossbow. I currently use 125 gr broadheads for deer hunting, with zombie bolts. What broadheads would you guys recommend for turkey hunting and should I stay with 125 gr heads? Thanks for your assistance.
