Re: Sapphire 325 (forward riser)

The two Grizzly’s just got delivered for my college boys. Put them together. Need to put the Guardian ADF’s on (with blue locktite) before they shoot them. In my opinion, the Grizzly is a very sharp looking bow. Can’t wait to shoot them myself. My sons and I will definitely be in the woods come hunt...

Re: High or Low brace height

I too am interested in this. I am a new crossbow owner. I have been trying to get my string to stretch. I have a matrix bow and a new grey factory string. The string has been on for more than a month and I have more than a hundred shots on it. I finally got my brace height down to 1 inch from the ri...

Re: Sapphire 325 (forward riser)

Your going to come in handy around here. You don't specialize in addictive personality disorder by chance? Group rate? What would be the point if there's little to no chance of change? :eusa-deadhorse: The first step is admitting you have a problem. I am definitely getting a nice “rush” from ...

I mainly prescribe medications. Maybe I should ask one of the custom arrow makers to build me some medicated darts?

Re: Sapphire 325 (forward riser)

Post by Goose52 » Fri Mar 08, 2019 4:02 am so tell me, doctor, is your purchase of a powerful weapon (for a short framed person) some sort of reverse psychological compensation for some freakishly large physical endowment? Speaking personally, I have been told that "it is not the size of your c...

Re: Sapphire 325 (forward riser)

I am actually a shrink (psychiatrist) and I couldn’t agree more. I recommend this stuff all the time. Personally, shooting and working on this crossbow has helped my mood. Last summer, my mountain bike did the same. Keep on doing whatever you love.

Re: Sapphire 325 (forward riser)

Thanks guys. I was glad to tell my crossbow story. My wife was sick of listening. Now she knows how I feel when she talks about handbags. Crossbows are much more interesting than handbags in my opinion. She begs to differ. Still below zero here. Looking forward to shooting again. Can’t wait for the ...

Re: Sapphire 325 (forward riser)

Thank you. I picked up the regs but haven’t read them yet. I will. Never hunted turkey before but they are running around. I just love the idea of the crossbow because I can hunt in my semi-rural area without offending neighbors. I can shoot guns but I prefer being quieter. It will be easy to get a ...

Re: Sapphire 325 (forward riser)

No baiting allowed in Montana. He does come around regularly in the spring and fall. I do consider myself to be protecting livestock and will figure out a way to do it. I will investigate this but it must be legal to monitor your livestock and protect them. The game warden actually told me it’s bett...

Re: Sapphire 325 (forward riser)

Yes. Spring bear season is coming up and I have to figure out how to get the bear. He comes in and ransacks my place at night and the moves on to the next house. He killed my goat last year. The fish and game just tells me to get a bear tag and “shoot yer self a bear”. I’ll figure out to get him.

Re: Sapphire 325 (forward riser)

Thank you for telling me about the single bolt. Now I know it won’t easily fit and can save my money for Grizzly’s for the boys. Also, I’m not excited to have a bow that’s hard to cock. Looking forward to the temperature to get above zero in Montana so I can shoot my bow. Excalibur’s are so accurate...

Re: Sapphire 325 (forward riser)

I’m a little embarrassed to admit the money I poured into this little bow, especially since I got such a great deal on the bow to start out with. I liked the look of the 308 Short and when I saw the discontinued Sapphire (same look but matrix limbs) on Amazon for $450, I couldn’t resist. Right after...

Sapphire 325 (forward riser)

Hello all. I am a new crossbow owner. I picked up a matrix sapphire (for the small framed shooter). I love this little bow. I am very proud of it. My new baby, I named her “Bear Killing Machine”. I plan to use it to hunt the problem bear I have in my neighborhood. I have learned a lot about the bow ...
