BJ,

Also just went back and weighed a couple of my 2213's with 4" plastic vanes and they weight in at 268/269 grs. Again with the XX78 Super Slam uni nock insert.

Round 2 EXOMAX and Speed Tach Custom Chronometer

BJ, The 2213's are XX78 Super Slam's that I cut down. The nock end I am using is the one provided for the uni nock. Much less weight than a flat alum nock or flat insert. Works real well so far. 200+ shots with them. Just checked the weight again on my Lyman L1000 electronic scale and they come out ...

Round 2 EXOMAX and Speed Tach Custom Chronometer

Today I shot my max over 150 times to try different brace heights and see how it would effect the speed. The first thing I did was install a new fast flight flemish string. The one removed will be packaged up for my spare. That way I don't have to worry about stretch when I have to change it out. It...

EXOMAX and Speed Tach Custom Chronometer

Gary, The GT Laser 2 shafts have the brass inserts at the front and 100 gr. points, or the Wasp Boss 100 gr. broadhead installed. The 2219's have 125 gr. field points alum. front insert and alum. flat nock aft. The 2213's are XX78's with alum. inserts both ends and 130 gr. field points. I removed th...

EXOMAX and Speed Tach Custom Chronometer

Very nice day down here in Southren Maryland, high 60's and sunshine. I set up a shooting table and rest and the Custom Chronometer to dial in the Veri-Zone. Chrono set up 3 ft in front of the Max. Brace height 1 1/4" to the front of the string. Following are my results. 2213 20" 3- 5"...

I'm 65 and 9 months. Purchased EXOMAX 11 Nov. 2004,and have taken two deer with it so far. Just shot the Phoenix up at Harrisburg show yesterday. Really like that bow. Really easy to cock by hand. I'll have to start a collection like some of the orthers on the forum :D .

Cost of feed

I pay $6.00 to $6.70 for 100# of shelled corn. The cheaper price if I buy 500# or more at a time. I usually hit all my spots on Sunday, using a small 4 wheeler where necessary, and then refreshing my spots when I hunt by filling a back pack and carrying in when I go to hunt. Works well for me. Some ...

Hi all. I've been lurking for several months, reading all the forums and learning a lot about Crossbow Hunting and Hunters. 11 Nov.04 I made the big step and purchased the Excalibur EXOMAX, vari-zone, and GoldTip Laser 2's. 21 Nov. 04, I took my first deer with the EXOMAX, a small buck. He didn't go...
