Metal Detectors

Go with the best. Whites DFX. Not cheap, but will pay for itself in a short time. Check out KELLY CO. for some good prices.

Stands

Here in Maryland, if you hunt public land, you must take your portable stand down each time you leave. You are not allowed to build any stands into the trees on public hunting land. As far as I'm concerned, a stand left in the woods on public land would not stop me from hunting there. If I went in t...

Servings

Dan Miller in Ohio told me not to wax the center serving at all.

I have been following his advice and have no problems with wear or serving seperating. Well over 500+ shots and it's still doing fine.

Broadheads

I haven't heard anything bad from the 12+ deer that the Wasp Boss 1oo gr 3 blade have zipped thru. And for some reason or other they also impact the target the same as my field points.

Wish I could say the same for the Slick Tricks I tried.

King & I

Mike P, Great story. I really enjoyed it. Your one lucky guy. I have a load of deer here in my area and back yard, but I'm unable to hunt them because of the other land owners. Just had a herd of 13 does/button bucks back here about one hour ago. A nice four point last night at 2330. Some really nic...

Bolts

At this time, I am shooting GT Laser 2's, brass insert, 4 in vanes, with the Wasp Boss 100 gr at 420 gr total weight and 2219's with brass inserts, 5 in feathers, 100 gr Wasp Boss for at total weight of 505 grs. Out to 35 yds I can keep both of these shafts on the bull with the same scope settings. ...

Ground blinds

I use the Double Bull T5 and T2. T5 big and roomy enough for too.

The T2 is a one person with crossbow.

Both are easy to put up, have shoot thru mesh windows, and do not flap around in the wind. No glare from the fabric and the colors stay true. No PINK noisy blinds.
