Re: Ground Blind Recommendations

Early season I use a 30 ft long by 4 ft piece of camo burlap. Have six 1x1x4 cedar stakes stapled to the burlap every 5 ft. Thin metal rods in the bottom of each stake. It allows me to walk till I find an active trail. Set up a wide V and I sit back in the V. Laying down, I can see movement thru the...

Re: ACP trigger

Theoretically, I like the idea of being able to change from single stage to 2 stage trigger. However, I have a single stage TT and wonder if it would even be worth the investment. Then I wonder if they could have developed a trigger with adjustable trigger pull.

Re: Basic pressure canning

I might have to try this next year. I can sauerkraut each fall and also can salsa and stewed tomatoes. Even did spaghetti sauce a few years back.

Curious if the canned venison works well in chilli?

Re: 2nd Rut

Just had an 8pt run behind work chasing 5 does. Kept puttin his nose to her rear and tried to mount, but she wanted nothing to do with him today.

Funny to watch as the other four does would always surround her. Trying to protect her....

Gen 1 Micro 335 - insert color

Re: Wisc. crossbow hunting

Hope you had/having fun!

The weather up here ( I'm 60 miles east of Eagle River on weekends ) has been perfect to get the deer moving. Musky Fishing has also been pretty good, float a sucker and slow cast retrieve with a bulldawg or suick.
