My Crossbow Buddy
Has anybody used the My Crossbow Buddy crossbow holder on a hang on tree stand? I am looking for something like this for deer hunting and wanted to get some feedback before purchasing one.

Re: SCOPE FOR BULLDOG 400
Hi Paul, Thanks for your input. It's much appreciated. I went up to Cabela's this morning and checked out the VX-R and while it's good quality I thought the reticle was a bit too busy for what I am looking. I ended up buying another Nikon IR Bolt. It's small, compact and I like the reticle. They hav...

SCOPE FOR BULLDOG 400
Just bought my second Bulldog 400 and I trying to decide what scope to put on it. I have used Nikon IR Bolts on all my crossbows and have had no issues and it's a real nice scope. For my new Bulldog I am looking again at scopes to see what options are out there. Thinking about trying a VX-R with a f...

Re: Tick tick tick tick
I got Lyme disease back in 2012 and ever since I have been using the Sawyer Permethrin spray on my scouting and hunting clothing and it works great. It has an odor when first applied but most of the odor dissipates when it dries and is completely gone after the first washing. I have noticed it works...

Re: Tick tick tick tick
Deer ticks have now become a vector of transmission for the Powassan virus. The difference between Powassan and Lyme is significant. Powassan is fatal in 10%-15% of people infected 50% of people infected will suffer permanent neurological damage Powassan can be transmitted as soon as the tick attach...

Re: Buying a Rainsuit - Any Recommendations?
Rivers West Pioneer Jacket and Pant.
They are the best and reasonably priced. They also make a rain poncho which works well.

Re: Bulldog 400 ???
I love my BD400 and don't want anything else. The only improvement I can suggest is less creep in the trigger.
It's compact, powerful, has great balance and shoots fantastic. I love the fact that my 18 inch bolts with fixed broad head stay within the riser and don't extend into the stirrup.

TRIGGER TECH ON BULLDOG 400
Was thinking about installing a Trigger Tech trigger on my Bulldog 400. I love my Bulldog but don't care for all the creep in the trigger.
has anybody already tried this and were the results an improvement with reduced creep?

Re: Chronograph
The Competition Electronics Pro Chrono works great. If you are going to use it in your garage or basement you will need the additional light array. The main unit should run approximately $105.00 and the light array is an additional $65 if you need it. http://www.competitionelectronics.com/product/pr...

Re: Tree Harness
Jim / Flecha, Thanks for the feedback regarding attaching with the rock climbing harness. I am very intrigued by the concept. I like the idea of facing the tree and having the safety line in front of me if I fall. I watched a few YouTube videos and it seems to be much easier to get back up into your...

Re: Tree Harness
Very interested in the concept of using a rock climbing harness as some have mentioned. For those using them I am curious how you attach to the tree?
Looking at pictures of the harnesses it looks like there are two loops, one at each hip. Do you attached to the tree using these loops?
