I replaced My Excalibur rings with some Millet steel rings they are very good quality just make sure you get a weaver style rings that is what the Excalibur base excepts.

Just remember the x bow is still a short range tool shoot at deer that are not on alert and under 35 yards and you will have great results. shoot farther and at deer that are raider locked in to you and you are asking for a poor hit, aim at the top of the heart for the most forgiving target /wiggle ...

What you need is a c2 crank I own the Equinox also and I am 5'4 140 lbs and have no problems with the crank it works great very easy and fast once you use it a few times .
My 12 year old daughter can cock the bow with the crank and she is very small framed.

Jerry here I wanted to say that I met Onetimeonly x today after we realized we live within a half hour of each other and decided to get together and put the bows through their paces well it was a a lot of fun talking bows and deer all day and shooting a 3d course very hot but great practice for the ...

You guys are making me drool! :mrgreen: I take old industrial hacksaw blades, add an edge and a yew wood handle. Looks like crap but works great. I left the teeth on one and found out that sticking one inside a deer was asking for disaster! :lol: I would post some pics but our camera\ camcorder too...
