Re: What cover scent do you prefer?
We at the shop, and alot of our customers like using the candles, Doe Urine, or the apple scent seem to be popular choices. In all our experience though its best to just have the wind in your face, no better cover scent than your scent being blown away from the deer trail! Try the candles, if you do...

Re: New member with Matrix 330 question ?
Hey Gene,
Some good advice here. It almost goes without saying but the speeds you're getting with the weight bolt you're shooting is pretty comparable to what vertical bow hunters get. Its all about shot placement and your personal comfort range. You cover those bases, the Excal will do the rest!

Re: String serving question
not entirely necessary, but as mentioned before you need to cover the hook area too. In fact, if customers have strings stops, we like to serve out to protect that area too...you might sacrifice 1 or 2 FPS, but the string will last much longer.

Re: Quills and bolt cutters
you may also want to try an O-ring or Nylon washer behind the broadhead and align with the fletching. it might correct the issue, if not, try switching up the broadheads on to the different bolts. Really most will group within 1-1.5 inches, so it sounds like only one of yours is far out of whack. Go...

Re: New micro. Advice please!
Some marks on limbs are normal. Our guess is they could be from the mold or from the coloring process. lots of good advice here but as always if you're not comfortable call Excal and discuss. Typically we don't see cracks or failures that would effect the bow integrity on the inside of the limb. Jus...

Awesome write up grassyknoll! We've been raving about that bow lately, a definite win for Excalibur! Some guys like the kit, some like buying the bow and putting the rest together with their preferences, no right or wrong way to do it. Glad to hear you're liking your 405 as well, those things are a ...

A Fluffernutter Sammich! Nothing says hunting season like PB and Marshmallow Fluff on wheat. I especially like them on those cold mornings when the cool temps toughen it up a bit!
