The video showes how fast they are. With the excitement and bow reaction (recoil) there is no way you can tell what really hpppened when you shoot, the deer moves so fast. It is hard enough to know exactly where they were standing.

Re: String Jumping Research
Great information! I swear my deer that have jumped the string (2), actually jumped! But none of the deer in the video jumped, they all dropped and rolled. The video shows that It happens so fast, the shooter will never see what actually happened, what with excitement and recoil (bow reaction). I am...

Re: TRIGGERS
Yes the Grizzly is a MATRIX, not a Micro. Now you know what an amateur I am! Are the Matrix triggers interchangeable? I talked to Boo and he sent me a picture and darn if I can find it, off in cyber space.

TRIGGERS
Acquired a Grizzly, already have a Axiom. Both are stock. Compared to the Axiom, the Grizzly trigger is just awful. Creep and heavy pull. Uncomfortable hand position on Grizzly too. Is this normal? Or may there be something wrong with the Grizzly? Have not messed with the triggers on either. How muc...

Lumenok
Lumenok Easton Carbon Flat Bolt End are .297 OD. Will they work in a Easton Magnum Aluminum bolt with an ID of .300? Or are they simply too small to fit well?
Thanks,
Bill

Lumenoks ??????
Can someone explain how Lumenoks work??? Must be the string pressure from firing turns them on. How do you turn them off? How many times can they be turned on and off? What is the battery life? Can you replace the battery? How do you practice with them?

Aluminum bolt specs
What does the spec mean, what is the difference between 7075- T6 AND 7075- T9 ? Is it a measure of stiffness? Or shaft diameter? Or wall thickness? How does it effect total weight? Many come with moon nocks and Excal recommends a flat nock. How do you change them? Where do you get them and how do yo...

Re: TRYING HEAVIER BOLTS
Thank you, this is the kind of information I was looking for. Sounds as if most of you recommend the arrow being nose heavy, seems like that would cause more shaft flex upon launch?????? But I have no experience, so I believe you guys. Sounds as if I want custom arrows because I really don't want to...

TRYING HEAVIER BOLTS
In an attempt to quiet my xbow, I want to try shooting heavier bolts/arrows. I limit my hunting shots to 40 yards and prefer 30. 1. What is the best/easiest/cheapest way? Buy custom arrows in the weight I want or adding weight to my present factory arrows? 2. What is the heaviest arrow I can use in ...

Trigger Noise
I am still in a search for a quieter crossbow. PLEASE, DE-COCK YOUR EXCALIBUR. Just decock your bow and listen to the noise. It does not come from vibration of the string and limbs, it is a noise of the pin releasing the string. You can hear it on the Excalibur tutorial on de-cocking. I have watched...

TRIGGERTECH
Does a Triggertech trigger soften the twang or snap noise when the string is released? After listening to youtube videos of a cross bow being fired, I think most of the noise is caused by the string being released from the steel pin. Don't hear that noise when a vertical bow string is released.
