John, I can relate to your situation. As a trapper I often used to carry multiple animal attractant in my 4 X 4 while I am going from the city to my trap line. I guess one cold winter day one of the bottles of green beaver attractant slipped out of my pocket down beside the drivers seat. Months pass...

Thanks Horizontal Hunter. I have a reloading scale here and will check out the weight of the field tips I was shooting. As you stated the only variable that did change was the 150 grain BH so this is where I will start. Again thanks for your input. I think this site is so great. After reading other ...

Horizontal Hunter if your last line was directed at myself. The field points were the ones sent with the right stuff package but I do not see the correlation. I shot a total of 20 shots yesterday with the 150 BH and all hit dead on the money at a measured 20 yards but when I made the move back to a ...

Just received my 6 Boltcutter BH Friday and could not wait to try them out on my new Phoenix with 150 gr boltcutter on Easton 2216, with the Excalibur Flemish string. Before I headed out I used the FOC calculator to determine that with the 150 gr broadheads, my setup only has 12.2% FOC As everyone o...

Ozzy sorry for your loss. My saying is" Live life to the fullest today as you may not be here tomorrow" Lots of folks asked me why I retired at age 50 and I tell them: 1. I can afford to live on a 30 year military pension. 2. I want to do some of the things I love to do and did not have th...

Bucko

Nice gesture. I am glad to see people like you promoting youth hunting. I wish I had a name to give you but grand kids are still to young and kids are not hunters.

Again hats off to you. You make me feel proud to be a member of this forum.

Defrosted and cleaned the freezer last week in anticipation of bagging a calf moose in 3 weeks. Set and locked the tree stand last week as well as ranged my 2 hunting sights. Just waiting for my Boltcutter BH from Labaron's in Ottawa.

Good to go I think
