I have not read or heard of any problems either. I looked at your profile to see where you are from and it does not show where. If you are in USA I would suggest that instead of playing email tag with Excal that you call Danny Miller the USA rep.
at Horizonal Archery.

Re: Picked up my first x-bow today
Leaving it cocked overnight a night or two will help the string to settle in.

Re: Bucks Still Have Antlers
Looks like this year's button buck that has an edge over his peers. He will probably end up a nice 6 to 8 point 1 1/2 year old.

Re: Picked up my first x-bow today
If it is the factory string mine just settled down after shooting it almost every day for a month. The new strings have enough wax on them to shoot without worry. Enjoy your new bow. Keep the fingers (and thumb) lower than the flight rail.

Nice looking pup there. I showed her picture to Lexi the yellow lab. Lexi said to tell her "woof".

FORD = Found On Road Dead.... But at least it looks good.
I drive a 2007 Honda Accord and a 2006 Chevy Silverado 4X4 extended cab. Want to guess which one I drive every day and hunt out of 95% of the time?
26 MPG sounds great to me. Hope you enjoy it.

Re: No cheek piece?..no problem
The first time I sighted in my Mossberg 835 with 3 1/2" mags I thought I was going to have to sell the gun it hurt so bad. I bought a Sims Limbsaver recoil pad and dang it it did not make it completely manageable. It is about like shooting a 2 3/4" mag now.

Re: sunshine girl/pink vixen
I'd be more impressed if it were cocked and loaded with some Big John arrows. John would have matched up the vanes a little better. And . . .she needs to consult VixChix on the nail polish. She could have gotten with Laura and had a better necklace. She must have gotten all flustered after m...

Re: sunshine girl/pink vixen
String?? I see buttons and zippers. And Ont_Excal is correct. That is definitely the Right Stuff Package. I would take two but have a feeling that the first might just kill this old man.

It was from the rear. Just wrinkled it up a little. Still shoots OK.

Re: Cock, lock & load!!!!!
I had a factory Excal string on with a firebolt. That only leaves the arrow not seated firmly against the string, how's the tension on your hold down arm? It is a pretty snug fit. I checked the arrow to string contact before shooting and it looked good. Shot off a level rest. I still think the vane...

Re: Cock, lock & load!!!!!
I had a factory Excal string on with a firebolt. Like I said it wrinkled up the cock vane so I have to assume that the string travled under the arrow and not above it. All I can think of is maybe I had the vane at an angle where it hit the rail on the shot and raised the arrow enough to let the stri...
