Re: dual wall shrink tube

if you have a Harbor Freight near you they sell a shrink tube kit. It has various sizes and it comes with many pieces. I had the kit and cut piece and used it on mine. The kit is like $5.00.

Re: NEW LUMINOKS

I'm not saying shave all of them off. I wrote shaved one off. They are still tight but more manageable. Out of the package the string could not light them and it was almost impossible to wiggle off. Now they operate properly. I guess use your own judgement.

Re: 1st time fletching in 15 years

Thanks for the info racking up points ! That's what I wanted to do .. keep the vane setback consistent.
I have 5 more prepped for fletching and hopefully I get them done plus the original 4 tomorrow.
I truly want to thank everyone for their help and say you guys are great !

Re: NEW LUMINOKS

Does anyone know if there are Lumenoks that fit the stock Diablo 18" bolts that come with the Grizzly package? I just installed the new 30% brighter Orange Lumenoks in my Diablos a couple of days ago. You need the EXCF lighted nocks. Keep in mind they will go in right out of the package but fo...

Re: 1st time fletching in 15 years

ArcheryAddict thanks for all the help. I was thinking I will fletch all with the Lumenoks that way any future refletching would be the same. It's tough for me to do anything right now as I have a tear in my rotator cuff and a bone spur there as well. Hopefully I can get some more arrows done in the ...

Re: 1st time fletching in 15 years

I had another thought when measuring for the FOC calculator. I should have installed the Lumenoks prior to fletching. Now the fletching has a 1/4" difference from future refletching. When I do the rest of the arrows this week I will install the Lumenoks first so everything remains uniform.

Re: 1st time fletching in 15 years

I agree I thought that it was going down as well. I did everything the same as I did the first time. I do know all the numbers changed after installing the lighted nocks. The overall length changed. The length to the balancing point changed. The Lumenok added roughly 1/4" to the length. I was u...

I guess I cannot use the quote in jest. No matter what I do the picture will not come up now. All my other pictures work (?).

Re: 1st time fletching in 15 years

Thanks guys. I have to admit I was a bit forgetful so I used the search feature. Once I started prepping things it came back to me. So I took the 4 recently fletched "Make America Great Again" Diablo arrows and weighed them. They were within a grain of each other. They varied, with the 150...

Re: 1st time fletching in 15 years

ArcheryAddict I agree with your entire post. Many years ago I became hands on in all my hobbies. The first time I had to have some arrows refletched I was told it would be a few days, they only had whatever kind/color vanes and the cost. I learned how to do it myself. The first time the serving went...

1st time fletching in 15 years

First I wanted to thank everyone on here as I've used the search feature often and you guys have been very helpful ! I haven't fletched an arrow in probably 15 years or so. Back then I was using an Ar EZ Fletch, Fletch Tite and I had a Mathews Q2. So using the EZ Fletch Bolt was no problem except on...

Re: target

I have the same as ThackMan a Delta McKenzie Speed Bag. I bought it at Dicks for around $50.00. It's roughly 24x24x10. I've only used it for about 1/2 a dozen shots but so far it's worked great.
