Re: Kodabow or Mission

I would like to try a Scorpyd but there are no dealers close. Thats quite a bit of money to lay out without handling one first Scorpyd going throughstring Serving like Jack Russell's chew up rubber balls , Kodabow strings and the serving last 1500-2000 shoots or more. My Scorpyd Ventilator 100 or m...

Re: Scopes

wildcatter,
I agree . proper consistent cheek weld solves the parallax problem...having a parallax adjustment capability just makes it easier to achieve that....much more important for shooting paper than game.

Re: Day Two with New Micro 335! LOVE, LOVE , LOVE IT!

Micro is so much fun to shoot....
my suggestion is at least a 385 grain arrow...
less stress to the Micro, more momentum for hunting, and quieter...

Re: Scopes

Paul, I also am no expert but have been reading a lot. It seems to me that parallax adjustment should have NO effect on POI of either a second focal plane or FFP scope...what effects the POI is one's inability to focus which makes the crosshairs appear to move...it is easier to focus when the parall...

Re: Scopes

Hi Paul. As Don said I recently spoke to one of the techs at Luepold about this very thing. I have a couple of VX-R 3-9X40's and us the HHA Optimizer with all my bows....great choice btw.. I learned that the paralax setting on my scopes was set at 150yards from the factory. What I discovered...

Re: Kodabow or Mission

Easy decision.
If you feel you need something other than an Excal, and you have to choose between the Mission and the Kodabow then that means you have never shot a Scorpyd...

Re: TT Single Stage in my Micro

I am sure an experienced shooter can get much better groups with a stock trigger than I could with my TT trigger but to me it is more about the enjoyment of shooting with a precise crisp trigger... and yes, the tighter groups were a plus... but mine definitely did chew up my servings more than the s...

My Micro youtube video surpassed 25,000 hits

My Micro 335 review video on youtube surpassed 25,000 hits with 57 likes and not one dislike or vulgar comment....I think it is testimony to how much people are fascinated and appreciative of the Micro platform.

Anthony, you are not alone: definitely a very slow year in the panhandle for the public land hunters in Florida panhandle...
a bit better for we private land owners who can corn legally...
too warm and too many acorns....

Re: Got a question

I have some older model Spinal Taps that I use for my Scorpyds and I am pretty sure they were originally made with a thicker wall (and therefore smaller inside diameter) towards the point than the nock. I think the newer ones are uniform in inside diameter..... too bad because my older one fly great...

Re: broadheads that will group with field points?

Ramcats, 100 or 125 shoot great...usually within 3/4 inch at most at 30 yds
with the Micro or my Scorpyds...(and that's w/o any spin testing etc..

was it a climbing tree stand or a ladder type...there has to be a big difference in safety...also a big difference if you stand or sit to shoot.....norm

Tact zone scope

am I alone in thinking the tact zone is actually a really decent illuminated 30 mm scope?
mine works great and I like the reticle display better than most higher end models.
I just wonder if it had "another" name on it would it be more appreciated,,,
