Re: Looking for a new place to hunt
Gift cards to the local restaurant for the grandparents to use, might help a tad. Especially if grandson backs up your not causing crop damage.

Hunted 9 days in the high deserts 🏜 of AZ., for Coues deer. We filled 2 of 5 tags. Saw lots of does but few shooter bucks.
Great time we great freinds.

Re: Venison Aging/Processing
Just as an added note,
All icechests, coolers, have the drain plug left open.
Nothing worse than game meat left soaking in a blood brine!
Add ice as needed, can be left for several days this way. Shifting or rotating gamebags as needed.

Animals are usually transported from field to home in gamebags and put inice chests. As hunting is normally in warm weather a...

Re: Packing the Exomax
Sad to say but my exomax only gets out once a yr. Its during the HAM javelina season here in AZ.
Sorry to say here in AZ, I doubt there will be a separate crossbow season anytime in the near future.

Re: Need a better stool
I've used a metal milk crate for yrs.
Easy to just leave in the blind , woods.
Just get a nice thick cushion. You can easily attached a swivel seat, if needed.

Which greatly opened up a lot of areas. . It's mainly which patch of the thicker timber left that they a...
