Re: Photobucket 3rd party

First 2 GB is free, after that you start paying. 2 GB is a lot of pictures. I have several hundred pictures in my account and I'm no where near that.

Re: String length

The string was made by a company called Winner's Choice. It's a 32 strand string made from a material called BCY-X. I'm not a string maker so I really don't know much about different string materials.

Re: Countdown to Boofest Trashtalking!

Vixchix wouldn't be Vixchix with her Vixen. And we just picked up one for Ben too. :-) To be quite honest we do a lot more target shooting than hunting with our bows and I still say the old Exo bows are nicer for that. Size is not an issue, they're much smoother to cock all day and too much speed wi...

Re: String length

Thanks guys. Test driving a string for a local shop. It listed as 35 1/2" on the package and even untwisted as far as I'm comfortable with it comes up quite short in brace height. It's still about 1/4" short of being in the zone (between the 2 lines). They claim it has no stretch and so fa...

Re: Countdown to Boofest Trashtalking!

Not a problem Tom, her Vixen has been "tweaked" over the years and is now shooting over 300 fps (303 fps if I remember correctly). That's over 18,000 FPM for you Daco owners. :D

Re: Countdown to Boofest Trashtalking!

Ya, there's just something about a bow who's speed it rated in "FPM" (feet per minute).

Re: Countdown to Boofest Trashtalking!

Here's a thought. How about shooting Tom's Daco on the 100 yard range and them running down the range to see if you can catch the arrow before it gets to the target. Shouldn't be too hard. 8)

Rainy day bird

The weather here has been absolutely crappy most of this week. Lots of rain and high winds and on Thursday the farmer where we hunt called to tell us our blinds had blown over. We always tether them to a tree so I knew they didn't go far. I went out yesterday and got soaked getting them back I'm pla...
