Re: asking for rage crossbow head advice pls
I despise rage broadheads. Have had them fail and that is not acceptable to me. I now shoot the gravedigger broadheads and QAD exodus swept blades. Love both these broadheads and they fly great. If you are worried its the broadhead it probably is because its a rage and you have every right to be con...

Clean shot nocks
Am scratching my head alittle today. Purchased some clean shot flat nocks in March earlier this year for using in my micro set up. Shot em 20 shots or so no problems. Pulled em out today. First two shots they split the ends of the bolts pushing into the bolt. Switched back to my aluminum flat nocks ...

dissapator bars?
I put out a topic about air brakes earlier and asked if they are worth it or not? Now after looking at the micros and matrix bows they don't have the dissapator bars the older bows do. So my question is are they even needed on the older bows and if not how many have taken them off all together. Let ...

air brakes??
Just ordered a micro and am waiting to get it . With Christmas coming people are asking for ideas for gifts. I was thinking about asking for air brakes for my micro. Any thoughts on this or are they really even worth an addition??? Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Hip quiver
Sidewinder makes the best one out there. U can use your own quiver just attach it to it . Adjustable to any angle. Also i modified a bracket and mounted it to my pack so i can attach the quiver to my my side pack and not have on the crossbow.

Re: Excalibur Quill
Correct me if i am wrong are people on this forum cutting down longer bolts to get the required length bolts? Maybe taking the 20" laser II or other to cut to 18" or now 16" for the new micro series. Just thought i would ask as it seems to be mentioned a little here and there. Sorry i...

Re: rubberized grips
preciate your thoughts awshucks and pydpiper. I have an exocet i really want to make into a shooting machine. I ordered a triggertech trigger for it and am anxious to put it in and shoot. I will definitely think more about it and test out different things on plastic before i put it on the stock. Don...

that is one option i had not thought of . Only thing would be during hot weather when a glove wouldn't be an option.

rubberized grips
Just curious if anyone has ever tried to put rubberized grips on your excalibur and if you were satified with the results. I want to add some to an exocet i have and am researching ideas. So give me your thoughts on the subject!

Re: Rage Broadheads
They are good if they open properly. I have had them fail though. My brother lost a turkey and i lost a doe. That was enough for both of us to go back to fixed blade broadheads. I have no complaints about flight, they do shoot like field pts, but its the deployment you have to worry about. My though...

x-bow storage for long trips
I know it has been talked about before but how many of you disassemble your crossbows for long trips? Particularly what cases do you use for transport if you do this. I bought a Plano AW 42" double rifle case. Am not sure it will fit and protect the way i want it too. How many have used the dou...

I appreciate you all sharing your ideas with me. Those of you that made the rope stringers , do you normally use the standard stringer as is straight out of the box?
