Re: Catwhiskers
I was wondering about what benefit i would get. I have the STS on my vortex and wondered if putting on the Catwhiskers would be a benefit or a waste of time. So the consensus is , correct me if i am wrong, It should be one or the other and not both?

I have been thinking about installing catwhiskers on my Vortex. I am shooting an excel string now hope to switch to Boo string later. My question is how far from the end of the loop is the best location , also about how many FPS am i going to loose!

STS string suppressor
Need info on the old manufacturer of the original STS for the excaliburs? I think they went out of business . I called the number for Bucks & Ducks out of Tennessee and the number is no longer in service also sent an email a month ago and no answer. I need new rubber stoppers and i don't want to...

Re: 50yard shots
i shot a nice eight pt @ 50.7 yds from spot last ranged. I shoot a vortex ,laser II's, brass inserts , rage broadheads. I had complete penetration and the bolt was about four inches in the ground. I think that is more than adequate. I see people wanting more speed, more speed. I don't want anymore t...

Re: Rhinehart 18 in 1
Don't know about the 18-1 but as for the small one you carry with you on a hunt about 8" or 10" round one , if you shoot this with your x-bow using it as a discharge you better get the truck and chain to get out of that target. I bought one years ago and shot this once and damn near couldn...

Count me in as well. I hate that people have to nock another mans work. I'm a craftman as well and know how hard it is to put your work out there for people to criticize especially if it is free. Count me in i would surely appreciate it!!!!

Re: unreal hunt on tv???????...........
For those talking about the craig morgan guy making that long shot it was over 90yds not 70. Talk about lobbing a bolt. This is why, like we are all discussing, some of these shows are making hunters really look bad. Another show i am getting a little bothered by is this pigman the series. This guy ...

Re: Sirrup protection
I use camo form wrap. I have used it for years and don't have a scratch on my stirrup. This stuff is like an ace bandage and only adheres to itself and will not leave a sticky residue. You can get it out Cabela's or online. You cannot beat it!!
