Re: Weekend Moderator Needed!

Yup. Just ignore him totally. No matter the statements he makes. But as mentioned before by a member, he could give some new members that don't know of him yet some bad advice here. I'm sure they will see threw his BS.

I do too. But I can see where the larger dr stirrup handles could help people. It's just easier for me and faster with the Excalibur handles on it.

Re: Dr Stirrup 4x4 rope kocker review

Great review, Jeff. Personally, I don't like the pinch point that exists between the handle and the roller on the hook when letting down the string during uncocking. I would put a few knots between the handle and the roller to be careful. http://i808.photobucket.com/albums/zz3/bellerivercrossbowhun...

Re: new 2016 bows

I was informed the new bows have started to ship to the dealer network. I better stay out of my local shop for a bit to let my savings build up... LOL I hear ya. I'm trying soooo hard to keep my mind from thinking of another one. If I didn't have my micro 335 or matrix 355 it would be a easy decisi...

Nice to know. I like them. Never had a problem with them myself. (That I know of) On the 3 deer I used them on anyways.

Re: Training on large distances.

It's all in practice, practice. There's guys who shoot long bows and recurves at that distance instinctively. It appears they are aiming at the sky just to get that arrow that distance.( No sights).now that's amazing! But not as consistent as the compound guys doing it with sights. Soooo much easier...

Sure it LOOKS good, even of coarse sounds good. But...........Let's see how it goes. Who's jumping first? Water looks good. I'm hoping it's a winner though.

Re: Is 40 Yards Too Far?

I know it's nothing like being there in real world time, and being able to read for yourself in that moment to take the shot or not. But watching archery hunting videos may help some also. Get to see how that game animal reacts for that person. Then may see what you may have done different or the sa...

I found it tiring to climb down and put the ear muff's on the deer's ears before every shot, the silencing was once and done, don't have to mess with the muffs no more,,,,,   Priceless!!  I may have to see if that works on my wife too. I swear each time I take her to a sp...

Re: Is 40 Yards Too Far?

As it's been said. Anything could happen at any range. No guarantee on anything. Not to sound rude, but everyone gave good answers to that question I believe. Each is different. The equipment is capable of doing the job for sure at that range. Even a slower bow. Can they duck or jump from sound at t...

Re: grizzly and R.E.D.S

I've enjoyed leaches on my long bows and recurves. Work great on compounds also of coarse. But not even the ones for crossbows stood up under the string tension that my 335 and 355 have. Cuts them in half in no time. They did last awhile on my lower poundage recurve Tenpoint GT flex though. A great ...

Re: 405, 380, micro

3 year old 380 and 2 yr old 405 --- left the 405 cocked for two days + this year during hunting season -------absolutely no nada zip zero problems -- and they are both tack drivers --- my guess is that since they both have Munch Mounts that must be the reason they are hanging in there  -------...
