Re: Matrix 380 String Twist

That is correct. When I put another twist in the string it kinks up in a loop. It was waaaay too twisted up. Getting a Vixen string delivered next week. Hopefully the dealer I bought it from will make it right.

Re: Matrix 380 String Twist

So I put my backup string from my Grizzly on the 380. I untwisted the one shipped with the NEW 380 and counted over 30 twists. When I laid it out it was over 36". Doesn't sound like the correct string to me. :x

Matrix 380 String Twist

When I got my new bow the string was way into the REDS. The first thing I did when I got the bow assembled was use the string changer to put some twists in to increase BH so the string is just off the REDS. When I did this, there were already so many twists that the string kinda curled up. I release...

New 380 - Which Screws Need Loctite

I am just assembling my new 380. I was just wondering which screws / bolts people felt I need to put Loctite on? I know I will be using it on the scope, but how about the riser bolts?

Good Luck PA hunters. Hunted there for 3 years before moving back to Michigan.

Re: Grizzly brace height ?

Mine too. There is a mark at 1 1/2 on the rail. Very faint but its there. Didn't see it at first but the string was covering it.

Re: Best Matrix Series Crossbow Poll

Would be interesting to know how many who responded have more than one Excalibur vs those who only voted for the xbow they have.

Re: New M380

Aluminum 2216? 618gr? That seems like a heavy arrow but I bet it delivers one hell of a thump!! I have a bunch of aluminum 2216 and 2219 from my vertical bow that I might play with over the winter.

New M380

Ok, now that the 380 is on its way I would like to verify a couple things. From what I have read I can use the same strings and arrows I purchased for my Grizzly. I have seen a couple of different specs for the 380 as far as arrows.....one said 20" and the other 18". I am using the 18"...

Will do. I hope to get it cited in and use it in the late bow season here in Michigan.
