the double bull holds up good in the wind if you tie it down but the snow is something different .

we got a bunch of snow last night, went to check my blind today and the roof caved in . so I took a adjustable paint stick and rapped towel on the end and put it in the center hoping it will take care of the snow load. :roll: I know that they make a pole just for that reason but never needed one til...

I have been using a double bull for about 10 or so years and won't use any other kind . one is a recurve matrix model they were offered by 3rivers archery for a few years . and I have a reg. matrix its a bit smaller but also good . like the windows on the double bull . you have the front of the blin...

I can feel what you felt on your doe, when it happened to me the first time. I did not know deer could make such noise . the next time it wasn't so bad . it will happen again if you continue to hunt . best of luck on your next hunt.

it should not make a difference . I shoot it off the bow when hunting, just use it for transporting my arrows. to me it's like waving a flag with the quiver on the bow . but if you like it on there it should not make a diff.

I hunt small farms also . not good for stalking so I just sit in the blind and wait .so far so good for me

with all those does they will soon bring in the bucks. the colder it gets the better it will get so hang in there. looks like you have a good spot. do you have a lot of turkeys in your area? they will eat a lot of the acorns too.

well it was snowing hard this afternoon here on the Island where we live. are you nuts the wife says going out in this weather! you bet , I said wouldn't miss out on a day like this for no one. it's 22 out there better dress warm . yes dear I said. set of longs and another set of down longs. bonedry...

like the man said shirt sleeve weather, just make yourself a pepper & egg sandwich and your good to go . the colder the better for me . try using your sleeping bag . it works for me :) :) deer seem to move better in this part of the country when it's cold. hang in there , and stay cool. W.M.

Thank you all for your nice responses. got some fresh snow this morning, so gona try to fill a my extra doe tag for the farmer this afternoon. got to love new snow and a new pack of SlickTricks will keep you all posted.
