Re: Frustration with Excalibur

To flightattendant100: not trying to argue with you, but the Excal Tech guy said that the R.E.D.S system I need is unique to the Grizzly - #7008. Will check that out. To Doemaster: already returned the R.E.D.S i had purchased to the dealer and ordered the right ones. I can tell you that there was al...

Re: Frustration with Excalibur

Deaf Jeff, returning and getting a different model not an option. Cost prohibitive and like I said, I love the Grizzly. Just not happy with Excalibur not providing relevant documentation and accessory lists when they knew this bow was unique and required that kind of info. the old "putting the ...

Re: Frustration with Excalibur

You are right for sure. Don't know what I would do without the forum. That is why I posted this topic, so many others can see the path more clearly and avoid the frustrations. Don't get me wrong, the Grizzly is great. It is all the other "clutter" that sucks. Wouldn't be surprised if the n...

Frustration with Excalibur

I am becoming extremely frustrated with the support and information available from Excalibur. Case in point: recently purchased a Matrix Grizzly, realizing a 10+ year dream. As noted in a previous post, the documentation and video in my package were not relevant to the Grizzly. My frustration maxed ...

Re: what happened to the reasonable price on Excal crossbows

Certainly a fair argument about bare bones versus kitted bows. But for anyone like me who is brand new to this segment of the sport, having to decide on a scope, quiver, bolts etc. would have been overwhelming and expensive trying to set up my perfect weapon. With a kit, I have a starting point, and...

Re: what happened to the reasonable price on Excal crossbows

Let me weigh in on this one. Waited a long time to be able to put the cash together for my bow. Was definitely going to get an Axiom or an Ibex, as that was my budget and targeted price. Then I saw the Grizzly for the same price kitted out as the Axiom. IMHO, this is all the bow anyone needs for mos...

Re: After so many years...

Thanks again for the input. Didn't quite get the response I anticipated on cases, but no worry. Wife jumped the gun(no pun intended) and bought the Tombstone case for me. If not happy with it i will just get the other as a backup/supplement

Re: After so many years...

Hey guys, thanks for all the responses and the warm welcome to the site. You are right- nothing but the best, great bow and a dream come true. Unfortunately, Excalibur really dropped the ball on the support materials for this model. I get the importance if getting exciting new products to market, bu...

After so many years...

After numerous attempts to save enough $$$$'s to buy an Excalibur (would not buy anything but the best) I finally was able to acquire a Matrix Grizzly. Except for the fact that the handbook in the box has no reference to a Grizzly anywhere in the text or technical tables, and the video included is t...
