That sucks. I have a Hoyt on order and once I shoot it for a while I want a BowTech and another Excalibur before the end of the year. I will not be looking for a break on the prices but just respectable price.

Hey Swiss. Not that I am happy to observe the same thing but I am happy that some one else here has observed this. One year in Norhtern Alberta just north of Fairview a CO stopped to say hello and see if we were ok. He eventually asked what we were hunting for and our guide/friend's wife told him th...

To ride along witha CO you need to b e a DCO(Deputy COnsrvation Officer). The fact is, you coul dbe exposed to some danger and a DCO has training in self defense etc... I doubt that anyone other than a employee of the MNR would be allowed on a ride let alone in the vehicle for anything other than a...

Good luck Butch but be carefull what you say to a CO. I was an Assistant Park Superintendant of a Provincial Park and went on a few "rides" officially and unofficially. I would write or talk to the Regional Manager first. Why do you want to go for a "ride"? I know a Park super (I...

Just like lifting anything heavy like heavy barbells or a transmission at work it helps out your back by using your legs instead of your back. Bend at the knees and look up then pull up while straightening your legs. I have a crankeroo but never use it. I usually use my hands when hunting and if I a...

Welcome to Global Warming boys. It really does exist Mr Bush.
On the bright side this mild winter will certainly guarantee more deer this next season.

DesertRat, I tried a couple of parallel limb bows (trykon and switch back) but did not like the quick stacking characteristics of their cams. Are there other parallel limbed bows with less abrubt cams? I am still interested in getting another bow like the trykon or switch back.
