i bought the 530 for an xmas gift last year but the price is much higher this year... $135 is the best i can find on ebay and no one else comes close

so just how cold does it get in OK when u hunt? if i layered like that i'd never be able to get my boots on! but the real question is am i tougher than u cuz i don't dress like that or use a heater or wimpier cuz i only hunt 3 hrs at a time and then go sit by the fire? pretty sure wimpier cuz i don'...

Just ordered a x-stand onyx from dick's. they had 25% off and free shipping ($5 oversize shipping charge). didn't really find any decent deals anywhere else.

it's time and timing is everything! the rut is on big time in NE WI which would be why, after doing fall chores last weekend, my back took a crap & i've been laying on a heating pad all week! :evil: should be able to climb a tree tonight but will have to get the boys to drag out the turdy pointe...

I am a TR admirer. he was an incredible outdoorsman and conservationist and his "man in the arena" quote is something i revisit. i think if u give this assignment a chance, you will find something to take away from it to apply to all ur future endeavors, not just school or hunting.

i have never missed a big buck going past me because of my i-phone..... that i know of! never took a phone to my stand before i started hunting with my adult kids. kinda fun to share thoughts on the sights n sounds. also nice to get a text saying "3 deer heading ur way. think 1 had horns."
