It seems like the arrows fly as good as the stock firebolts before I reflectched them. I was just curious. I will be more careful next time. The glue is Gorilla glue blu cap.

I recently refletched a bunch of firebolts. There is some excess glue between the vanes on the shaft. Is this worth rubbing with acetone to clean up or is this probably a non issue as far as accuracy is concerned?

I have only had 2 firebolts ever break. One was from wounding a wild boar which we found 1 week later and shot 2 more time with guns. Many of the Excal shooters break their bow down and use a hard gun case. Plano is coming out with a hard case called the Manta that will fit excals without breaking them down. I will take a hard look at that when it is available.

I have never shot the aftershock but have used a very similar head called the Swhacker. With the Swhacker I have killed 2 bison and 1 wild boar with my crossbows. The Swacker is a great crossbow head.

I have some damaged end caps that I need to replace on some Firebolts and Goldtip Lazer 2's. What is the best way to remove them? When I am replacing them, do I glue them back in?

I see that on the Arizona EZ fletch website they have a fletching jig with right helical(6 degrees) and an offset(4 degrees). Is there any real advantage of one over the other? Will they both clear the flight track channel ok with 4 inch vanes?

How long do you leave the arrow in before removing it?

I am kinda confused as to why the gold tips seemed to re-fletch easier than the firebolts?

is there a better fletcher that anyone would recommend?
