Re: Can i buy a Excalibur Matrix 405 Mega without problems?
It is FACT that ALL Matrix bows carry the same limbs.. period! It is true that there was an "overcooked batch" of Matrix limbs. FACT. The 405 will break these bad limbs much sooner than the 355..but if your 355 got one of the "bad" limbs.. it will break too. :!: The internet let...

Are You Tough Enough?
LOL... I have had a Matrix 380 for about a year now...and when I first got my Xtra, I went out on my property to shoot "targets of opportunity"...I forgot my cocking rope. Well try as I might, there was NO way in H*** I could get my 380 cocked without my rope. I tried it tonight und...

Re: Tact Zone vs any other scope?
There is no German glass in Zeiss xb75 ......its glass surely made in China maybe in the same plant as the tact zone.....congrats on great shooting. Give me that Zeiss with a 30 mm tube, illuminated, and a 44mm objective and I bet it would be the best crossbow scope made. Norm I guess i should have...

Re: Tact Zone vs any other scope?
Darn you guys are going to cost me money!! That Zeiss is starting to look really NICE.. I am still not convinced that German glass is necessary for bow that shoots -100yards. I shoot long range BPCR (Quigley Buffalo Rifle) with iron sights out to 1 mile...and do fairly well. http://castbo...

Re: New Lynx!
Thanks guys!! I got out this weekend with the Lynx and predator call...No wolf but a coyote came in and laid down 250yards away and watched the call for over an hour  I even sent my Blue Heeler "way out" but the yote just laid down real low and flattened his ears! ..It is really open...

Re: Tact Zone vs any other scope?
I can think of No good reason to change my TactZone because they both work great for my crossbow range. I even used the TZ the other night to shoot some 100 yard groups in the last couple minutes of light...worked very well even in near darkness. And the fps zoom ring can be used to regulate much fa...

Re: Predator Hunting Questions
So I'm guessing that between the two, my maximum shooting distance would be approximately 50-100 yards. What type of gun should I take, a rifle or a shotgun? If rifle, should it be open sights or scoped? Again, thanks all for your help. Chad If thought that my shots were going to be inside of 100ya...

Re: Dumb Question: Why Don't We Eat Yotes?
This too funny!! You guys!! I'm going to go on record as saying that if you try to crock-pot a yote...you will throw the entire works, (pot and all) out after she heats up and fills your house with taint.... And if you are married...well, it will take a little while to adjust to single l...

Re: Predator Hunting Questions
Thanks Chad! Well I like to hunt the timber too...I just bought a Lynx in hopes to hunt the Wolf with my crossbow in the forested areas on snowshoes this winter. In this case the wind is usually less predictable and swirling. So I can assume that the area where I parked my truck and walked into my s...

Re: Predator Hunting Questions
I guess I am the odd man out because I like the 7mm Remington for my coyote hunting. I live where you are just as likely to call in a Bear, Wolf, or Mountain Lion and shots can be very far. The big caliber gives me excellent accuracy to 800yrds and the 7mm will buck quite a bit of wind. I see posts ...

Re: Best Matrix Series Crossbow Poll
Well looks like the 380 won,, since most of the 380 owners were busy butchering deer they didn't get a chance to respond,,,,,,,,,,,,,   Yep I think you might be right!..the 380 is a such a cannon!! And just like you, I like mine so much that I had to get a second 380...one in Xtra,....
