Re: Loud equinox
I shoot an Equinox which has the S5s. Just a note on sound. Sound travels about 1125'/sec & your Equinox shoots about 330/340'/sec. This means that the deer would have about 1/4 sec to react sound to arrow impact at 25/35 yards. I would not be concerned about the noise.

Re: Cocking difficulty Exocet 165
Make sure that your cocking rope hooks/handles are short enough. I have to pull up on my string 6" to 8" to set my 2nd hook before I cock the CB. Ensure that the safety is OFF on the CB before you start. If it cocks with a small screw driver when the shaft is pulled back it must cock with ...

Re: Hoisting a crossbow up to a treestand
My ladder stands have 2 pull ropes, one for my pack & one for my weapon. I also use a lifeline with a Pursik knot loop and I am always secured anytime I am off the ground. I had to learn the hard way that it is NOT IF BUT WHEN you will fall as I fell from a 16' stand. I cock my Equinox before I ...

Re: Hi guys, Any idea what is the model of my crossbow?
The "normal" scope mount that came on my Excalibur CBs has 5 slots for mounting scopes and there is a gap at the rear end. The one shown in the above pictures has 9 slots and there is a smaller gap at the rear end. I don't believe that this mount came with the CB.

Re: Hi guys, Any idea what is the model of my crossbow?
It looks as it the scope mount is the ADF model with the ADF removed. I don't believe that the Axiom came with this style of mount but used this one.
