Double Bull T2

I have no problem shooting my max from my T2. I find that I use it more and leave my T5 at home. The T5 is nice if you have a friend come along to hunt or video.

Half Moon Nocks.

I use my arrow cut off saw to cut the half moon nocks off flush at the bottom of the groove. Works fine. No problems with any serving wear.

Flight of the bolt

Hi all, Friday evening I had the good fortune of taking my third deer this season with my Excalibur Max, using GT Laser 11 with bras insert and Wasp Boss 100 gr. 3 blade. 20 yd. perfect broadside shot down a fire break road. After the bolt hit and passed thru the deer, I could see what appeared like...

Safety Harness

Tar Heel,

Here's the web site for the test on the safety harnesses.

Don't try this at home.

Safety Harness

Tar Heel, As far as I'm concerened the SOP (Seat of Pants) is the best one out there. You can also use it as a linemans belt when installing/removing stands. One of the archery sites did some test on the SOP and the Hunter Vest. They did 3 or 4 falls from an elevated stand with the SOP. They planned...

Field points and broadheads POI

After shooting my Max today with the GT2's with 100gr FP and 100gr Wasp Boss the POI is nearly hole on hole. When I try the Slick trick 100gr I can't get the same results. I want to finish the season with the Wasp for this year, and I'll try the Tricks after the season. Two deer down for the count w...

Speedball,

It's called a "GREENBRIER". I think they were made in WI. It can take a log up to 30" long. Has served us well over the years. Straight 8" pipe run makes for a easy clean also. Has door with glass for viewing or solid steel door for long hot burns.

Speedball, Sitting here by the stove in the family room. Installed it in 1976, and I can tell you it's paid for itself at least a 1000 times. I look for my wood after storms or when people have trees removed. Haven't paid for firewood innearly 30 years. Lots of times there is free firewood offered i...
