Re: Crows ain't all that smart !

Got an Owl decoy? I've heard stories of shooting crows until they were out of shells. Recently I had a group of 4 pestering my dog & cat. Got 1 off the top of the barn with the 22. Week or so later blew one up with the 25-06 about 350 yds out in the field. Have not seen the other 2 since :D. Czy...

Zombie Tough

First time I've ever had any arrow aluminum or carbon survive a close encounter with a 2x4 . The arrow was sticking about 4 inches out the back of the pressure treated 2x4, I removed the field point, then I using a hammer/hammer and 3/8 punch I was able to drive the arrow back out. http://i99...

Re: Photobucket 3rd party

When I preview my post I see a picture. PhotoBucket is hosting this picture. Re: C2 crank question

It's the rope slipping into position on the reel as you crank. Watch the take up reel, I find just after it starts the second layer the rope will slip/roll. Nothing to do with the bows.

Changing your string and adjusting brace height is a lot easier if you are using a C2 crank with the stringing aid.

Re: Bulldog Targets for Boofest

I got the wooden frame put together for my target. http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/Czy_Horse/20170628_112732.jpg I noticed yesterday that my arrows were picking up little melted plastic residue from the target face. A little dab of arrow lube worked to clean the arrows and keep it off while ...

Re: Bulldog Targets for Boofest

Back on topic . My new target showed up yesterday. First impressions, heavier than I thought. I had to test it out  , I shot it point blank with my 380. There was still ample room to grab arrow shaft in front of blazers. A firm grip with 2 fingers to remove arrows. Only one small whinn...

Re: Bulldog Targets for Boofest

We're going to build a wall, a big beautiful wall all along the border of the pasture to keep those arrows on the right side of the fence

.....I just watched the Chopper drop....I stand by what I previously said.....not impressed and feel it was not necessary...Excalibur is the best crossbow out there, we all know that....and we do our job as unpaid salesmen for the company selling the Excalibur name and the company's no BS warranty....

Re: New boy in town

Mike, does Baxter get to meet his new friends at Boofest this year? :D No, he is not fit for people yet. All teeth and does not listen. When he behaves he will be with us. He knows not what he is missing. Don's pup Bella would be the perfect host for Baxter and Ginger at Puppyfest  ...

Good looking pup. How does he like the bike? Just got in from taking my 10 month old beagle pup on her first 4 hour ride & run with the 4-wheeler. She's rather calm ATM. Czy_Horse We just sat on it for now. Will be interesting when I start it up. Baxter is only four months old so LOTS of puppy ...
