Re: Thank you all!!
A great 'thank you' would be a hunt over her in future years. Good luck with the training.

Re: A little help please
The easiest method would be if John had online banking and the ability to receive Electronic Fund Transfers, or, if he had a PayPal account. If that's not the case, then perhaps someone close to him, and trustworthy, would be able to manage it.

Re: Gun Registry
The handgun registry is about as useful as the long gun registry, in reality. It was set in place in 1934 as a measure to track handguns in case of enemy subversion. In fact, all guns, during the second world war, were registered, for this purpose. Since that time, restricted firearms remained regis...

Re: Gun Registry
You're saying that firearms ownership in Canada is five to seven per cent? Now, I don't want to start a pissing match and you'd have to know me to know my background, but I can guarantee that firearms ownership in Canada is higher than that. The CPC knows that and will continue to use those numbers ...

Re: Gun Registry
In essence, the Long Gun Registry is not something that is difficult to comply with. You registered your gun, carried your card and that's about it. However, the main reason that most people point at it as a problem is due to invasion of privacy and the fact that the Liberal Party of Canada put it i...

Re: Gun Registry
Contrary to reports from Sun News Services, C-19 is NOT on its way to the Senate, just yet. C-19 has only passed the Report Stage and third reading will begin today, with a final vote possible on Thursday. I have no idea why the Sun would not properly keep track of this and confuse everyone. There's...

Re: Gun Registry
Once C-19 becomes law, as long as the buyer and the seller are both licensed, money and firearm are exchanged and there's no reason to call the CFC. It's as simple as that.taz3 wrote:Any idea what will happen with registered guns when or if transferring them from one owner to another?

Re: Gun Registry
It would have to be all brand new data, and considering the total cost to set it up the first time, I don't think anyone would stand for it again. No data will be kept once C-19 passes, since the registry IS the data.
Besides...they try it again...what guns?

Re: Gun Registry
Thanks DG, I try to keep up with this but simply do not understand the whole process. Looking forward to your updates, you seem to have this stuff all figured out. I wonder why that would be? Although I must state that keeping up with this stuff is no longer a part of my vocation, a lot of ho...

Re: Gun Registry
Vote on time allocation for debate later this evening, limiting further debate to one day (Wednesday). Vote expected on Thursday, passing with full support of all Conservative MPs (and possibly a few NDP MPs trying to save face in their rural ridings). After the vote on Thursday, the Long Gun Regist...

Dear VixChix,
Having recently been given an open door to new opportunities, I was wondering what types of stories people like reading in magazines these days, having been out of the game for a bit...maybe I should write an advice column?

Since you're in Goderich, the Ontario Hunting Lodge has a classifieds section as well.

Now there's a photo that some folks over on rabble.ca would frame and post on their wall.
