I have cooked a turkey in a garbage can similar to that but you turn the can upside down . The turkey was to big for any traditional method of cooking . RJ the geese started about 7:00 - 7:30 in the one spot .Then we moved about 10:30 to look at the other spot ,boy did the rivers open fast in the last couple of days . On our second spot it was frozen over on wed. but by saturday was open for the geese .Our spread must have looked good from the road ...

Yesterday wasn`t bad a little cold at the start, we had geese fly out but not near enough to us .So we moved to the other spot and had to bump out probably a couple hundred that were suntanning . The new scope has a larger objective as well as the illumination . To answer your question tye ,tried the scope in the limb room with the lights out and just the light in the working area lighting things up . Yeah we are going out tomorrow . We get the dumb city birds coming out to this farm . Early season and late it almost feels like shooting fish in a barrel .
