It’s the Vixen II. I’m using a Boo custom 40 strand Flemish string at the upper brace height. The S5 string suppressors are all you need to reduce string oscillation and vibration! I can get up to 295-297 fps with 350gn arrows! Don’t forget these are brand new limbs and string.

I’m keeping it original. The pipe insulation fits perfect and it’s nice and warm during cold winter hunts!

Got everything on my Vixen II now. It’s definitely one sweet cocking crossbow. Got her shooting 290fps with 400gn Spynal Tapp arrows with my Boo string!

I started with a Vixen II but sold it a few years ago to trade up for my Vortex. Well last week I traded some goods for a new Vixen II! I will have it by the end of this week and am very excited waiting for it! It is the easiest cocking bow that Excalibur has ever made & very accurate out to 50 ...

Spynal Tapps are the same arrow as Zombie Slayer arrows! The only difference is the custom label that Jerry puts on the Spynal Tapps.

They DO help with stopping string slapping on the limbs of my older wide limb bows!

I finally cleaned my limbs with acetone then applied a small drop of insert glue (crazy glue) and reapplied the Ex-Shox. Let them sit 24 hours to dry. They haven’t moved since then! This was my third set that flew off the limbs even when applied per directions! Good luck!

We got 2" of snow on the pavement and about 3 1/2" on the grass (Ripon, WI)! Nothing like snow and cold weather for an excellent hunt in Wisconsin! Good luck to you both!

I took the dissipater bars off of my Exocet 200 too! I just added a Boo custom Flemish string and S5 bumpers and the bow is as quiet & shock proof as a crossbow can be! Can't even tell the difference between having the bars on or off the bow! Good luck!

No pre rut here in central Wisconsin yet! The chasing will start in a week or two!
