As noted ---got to any of the big box sports stores ---- strings will be in the bumpers ---- I have give up telling the sales clerks of their errors --- they always answer ---"that is the way they came"---- thus anyone buying an Excal from one of these stores thinks they are doing the righ...

I would also be curious as to any ideas for hiding cameras --- each year I put out several specifically to identify trespassers and poachers.

If I am understanding what I think I see --- it appears they cut that with a sawzall or ??----------that would indicate preplanning. The scary side is that they could have cut it part way during season and left it for you to break it when you were climbing up and that is super scary --- Mega bad!!
