Re: TT trigger for Grizzly
To me the factory trigger felt like it had a ton of creep before getting to the trigger...Once I put the TT in, there was no creep, just a nice crisp release.

Re: TT trigger for Grizzly
I just got a TT two weeks ago from EastHill on Hwy 35 and they had more in stock. What an amazing upgrade to the Grizzly!

Re: new trigger
I didn't just jump right in and go with a Triggertech. I actually did shoot my bow with the factory trigger for a few months. This new trigger is night and day better than what was there. There isn't what felt like an inch of creep before getting to the trigger like the factory trigger, just a smoot...

new trigger
Well after reading on here and other sites about how much better a Triggertech is, I went and put one in the Grizzly!
All I can say is WOW! What a difference in feel...no creep whatsoever and a nice crisp feel to the trigger.
I would attach a picture, but the board attachment quota has been reached...

Re: Loose Fasteners
There are actually more than 2 types of loctite, but if you're happy with nail polish, keep using it. It accomplishes the same thing anyways...

Re: Loose Fasteners
Grab your loc-tite and go out in yard and do this, throw it away.. use only fingernail polish that loc-tite is too tough on threads and causes more problems and not needed in my OPINION..If you walk into my gunsmith he will throw bottle for ya... If that's the case, then he is using the wrong ...

Re: Mid range scope options
Just picked up a Nikon Bolt @ Canadian Tire in Belleville a couple days ago for under $200 taxes in. It was on sale, but I'm not sure if it was a local store sale or chain wide...

Re: scope options in Ontario
Being new to crossbows, I didn't even know they were there. I still may upgrade the scope, but now there's no rush to do it.newbie wrote:first thing to check when having zeroing issues. you can chase it all month otherwise.
glad to see it was a simple fix

Re: scope options in Ontario
Finally got another chance to shoot this thing. Once I tore it apart and found the trigger mounting screws loose, I loctited everything and put it all back together. Only took a couple clicks on the scope to have it zeroed back in and was shooting 1" groups @ 40 yards from the bench. Hopefully ...

Penetration depends on how tight you pack the clothing in...
I wouldn't use it for broadheads though. They would not be fun trying to get them out.

Re: scope options in Ontario
That really is a simple task to take off the stock! The forward trigger screw was a bit loose, but would that be enough to cause my POI to move right a foot at 30 yards?
Hopefully I'll find out by the weekend when I can get out to shoot again...

Re: scope options in Ontario
So just to make sure I'm understanding this correctly...there are two more screws I can't see that I need to check. Does anyone have a picture that shows what I'm looking for?

Re: scope options in Ontario
You guys are good! That's the first thing I checked and everything was good. I checked the scope rail and mounting rings. Are there others that I have missed?

scope options in Ontario
Finally had a chance to try my Grizzly out on some foam animals...first 7 or 8 targets shots hit exactly where aimed, but after that things fell apart. First 4 inches right of point of aim, then 6 inches right...you see where this is headed! After a couple more targets and hitting almost a foot to t...
