Re: Hit a buck need advice
Things happen at crunch time, lots of variables that could make an arrow hit where it hits. If he looked that hurt, I would give him a few hours. If he is dead, he will be no more dead in a little while. If he aint dead now though, its a hard pill to swallow if you jump him and lose him. Lord only k...

String Builders
Ive only made strings for my longbows and recurves but the "draw" to make a string for my 330 is pulling on me. My recurve strings have held up for years but it is only 50lbs, not 200!! I have B50 for my recurve but don't think that would work out to good. I just don't know. Is B55 a good ...

Re: Quiver
Thought about a hip quiver, may try to make one. I was thinking, for some reason, that the excalibur bracket was made onto the mount

Re: Quiver

Stems from my longbow days when I packed a quiver full of arrows with me and shot at pine cones, stumps and stuff like that. Maybe why I didn't kill but a couple with the longbow. Anybody ever sh...

Are there any options for the Matrix bows other than the factory quiver? Not knocking the quiver at all but I would like to carry 6 arrows.

Re: best ground blind for crossbows deer hunting
We hunt out of an Ameristep Brickhouse. It is a little crowded with Me and my 2 daughters but gets the job done. I leave it out all season. It was a little over 100 dollars I think and it is on its fourth year. This is our second blind. The first one lasted 5 years and is still useable but chewed up...

Re: cheek piece or not to cheek.piece
I did what Perforator did. I used double sided tape and taped a piece of closed cell pipe insulation on mine. Not near as appealing as some of these factory jobs but seems to work fine and is pretty cheap. Im sure I will look down and find that it has fallen off somewhere.

Aluminum Arrows
I just received a dozen Executioners and and have been shooting them. They shoot great but I was wondering, for those that shoot aluminum, do they shoot as well as carbon? Just looking for pros and cons I guess
